Which news outlets do you use/trust?

Well, as everyone has probably figured out, I normally go by the BBC.

What other news outlets do you use/trust?

And now the question that I really wanted to ask - Would/do you Trust PressTV?

i use more middle eastern outlets for world news like 'al jazeera' and 'press tv' like at the time of gaza invasion it was clear that bbc were not showing as much about it that the middle eastern channels.

however for UK based news BBC is good , for example the MP expenses problems and the economy the do a fairly good job, they are also reasonable for technology news and entertainment news but for such topics like tech and entertainment there are better sites devoted to those topics like cnet etc

bbc, guardian and cnn sometimes. i hate sky, reminds me of the sun.

i don't trust anyone entirely always think there are two sides to every story we will see things through rose tinted glasses. But push come to shove rely on bbc because i don't know of any good alternative, read guardian and independent. Sky very american trash reminds me of fox news, that is like a serial drama the rubbish they talk, and state sponsored. Isn't sky owned by an american company?

“O my people! Truly, this life of the world is nothing but a (quick passing) enjoyment, and verily, the hereafter that is the home that will remain forever.” [Ghafir : 39]

Australian I think - part of the Rupert Murdock empire. which incidentally also owns Fox news.

Best american news show? The Daily Show. For a comedy, it really is enlightening.

"For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens 'as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone'" - David Cameron, UK Prime Minister. 13 May 2015.

Whatever you prefer, it's best to read a range of views/opinions, from each side. Of course that's time consuming, so is only really worth with the really important/divisive stories.

On the whole I find news boring. Does that make me shallow? I mainly stick to reading headlines... Ah well.

I heard that the average person in Britain today hears more pieces of news EVERYDAY than someone living in Britain 300 years ago heard in the ENTIRE lifetime.

Don't just do something! Stand there.

I like the BBC because it doesn't waffle and gets straight to the point.

But the Times and the Guardian/Observer are good for the detail that they go into.

British new media are far better than American ones like CNN or FOX.

Even New York Times was caught making things up and fabricating stories.

BBC is still the best. Thats because it is owned by us the public.

That is why they have to report things correctly.

They are not under anyone's control.

If Bruce was ever caught lying, then no matter how good looking she is, her butt would be kicked out of the BBC.

BBC presenters are top. In comparison, CNN presenters look completely stupid.

And FOX newscasters are the dumbest people on earth.

PRESS TV is better than CNN. It gives Iranian point of views. But that Susan Madarass is way too pretty to be on TV. She is a bombshell. She can earn millions simply for being on the cover of Vogue.

Their other presenters are so funny. They give sly comments all the time. That guy - forgot his name - one with an American accent - is truly a comedian. He rips anyone he interviews.

The BBC and Sky...just because they look "good" and not so boring? lol

During the whole time that Gaza war was in the news alot watched most of it on Press TV but dont watch it anymore

Going onto Google News (which is just a fancy news aggregator, but sometimes interesting/helpful), under all the normal news stuff, I noticed a section, "Recommended for ..." (I have a googlemail account...) and top headline was .

Is Google calling me a geek? should I be offended?
