Im slowly losing respect for this guy..
What is he like? Every couple of months and he'll say something scandalous.
Anyway, it occurred to me people might wonder what's wrong with what he said so...
He says Osama bin Laden is good because he "terrorises the terrorist" and "America is the terrorist".
For the sake of argument lets say America is a terrorist. This only refers to the foreign policy of its government. It is absurd to suggest that every American is also a terrorist.
Dr Zakir then says its a good thing to terrorise terrorists. Here I have to disagree with him. As Muslims we are not permitted to terrorise anyone good or bad. Our Prophet SAW like all Prophets AS as part of His office was just. Even to the most heinous of criminals he conducted fair proceedings rather than indiscriminate violence.
This concept of judicial proceedure and patiently following this proceedure towards even those who does us harm is a requirement of following The Prophet SAW. Its required from every Muslim, and expected by God.
