Uncomfortable/amusing plot summaries.

You

Mainly from here, but feel free to add your own.

A few that I liked:

 • ALIEN: Ship fails to deliver cargo, crew don’t get bonus.
 • ALIENS: An unplanned pregnancy leads to complications.
 • BATMAN: Wealthy man assaults the mentally ill.
 • DEMOLITION MAN: In a future where crime is completely eradicated, a black man steals and murders.
 • DIE HARD: Dysfunctional cop saves marriage by murdering foreign national.

ok, max 5 per person, otherwise I would post the full list.

PS I think I need to watch Blade Runner to see what all the fuss is about.

Watch a movie, any movie and then describe it in its most simplest way. Extra points if its funny.

In the batman example, Bruce Wayne is a rich millionaire. The baddies (the joker including) and derranged lunatics - people who in the real world would be put in a padded cell.

So its a rich person beating up the mentally ill.

Have you seen any of the movies? Or do you mean you get the point of this (there isn't really one, btw).
Except Batman, nope... (and I think that batman was pretty old)

Oh OK cool.
Watch The Dark Knight. Its about a year old. One of the best recent blockbusters.

Of course you may hate it, but atleast you will learn how to make a pen disappear.

Love the deadpan ones!

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST: Peasant girl develops Stockholm Syndrome.
FRANKENSTEIN: Scientific advancement proves unpopular with general public.
JURASSIC PARK: Theme park’s grand opening pushed back. y
KILL BILL: Irresponsible mother wants custody of her child.

and following on from Aliens...

TERMINATOR: An unplanned pregnancy leads to complications.

LOL!!!! That is really funny!

Man in the Iron Mask- A man (Leo DiCaprio) wants to overthrow himself.
The Deathly Hallows- Some teenagers run away together
Phantom Menace- a maverick Jedi takes a boy from his mother

That's all I can think of at the moment.

Ok, original ones?

THE MATRIX: Black man gives white man drugs...and guns.
THE ONE: Paralell universes used to explain why chinese people all look the same.
TERMINATOR 2: Psychotherapist not impressed with his patient's rage-against-the-machine attitude. Does not admit he was wrong when patient's 'terminator fantasies' walk through a locked door and fight right in front of him.

Sorry Jet Li.

nope. Pick a film and try to explain its plot in one line. add a little twist to add humour.

Wait, not waffling *may* be a guys thing...

/hides

Any Indian Film: Boy meets girl, Boy can't have girl, much song and dance, boy can have girl.

(Have the plots moved on from that? in the last decade?)

Rocky: White man beats up black man.
Rocky II: White man beats up the same black man again.
Rocky III: White man beats up a much bigger black man to the Eye of the Tiger Soundtrack.

Pirates of the Caribbean- Curse of the Black Pearl: Two pirates squablle over some treasure

Dead Man's Chest- Three boys fight over a girl and some Octopus' heart (very romantic)

At World's End- Some East London (by this I mean Global) gangs come together to fight it out on water.

😂 Not bad at all. Here's my take...

Pirate of the Carribean CotBP: Orlando Bloom stars in a pirate caper in which a damsel in distress must find her inner woman to save the day. Also features Kiera Knightely.

Too subtle?

Good tries, both of you, but I hae to disagree with both of your summaries! How about:

Pirates of the Carribean CotBP: Young boy is found floating on a plank of wood. He grows up to become Orlando Bloom, thus being so wooden he can float without the plank of wood.
