An ice-skating star's baby has been born two days after she collapsed and died from a brain haemorrhage, a hospital has confirmed.

Doctors at Oxford's John Radcliffe hospital kept Jayne Soliman's heart beating until they had delivered her baby daughter Aya Jayne on Friday.

Baby Aya was born prematurely by caesarean section.

She is now being cared for by doctors at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading.

i think this is one example of bravery..it's so difficult choose if u want lost your life for a new life or live and try later to be preignant again...

i don't know what i could do if i was in this situation...

often mothers give his lives for the baby...and you girls? :roll:

The mother had already died a couple of days in advance - she did not "choose" what to from what I read - she had a brain haemorrhage.

Who would control the body? Not something I would call wonderful. Atleast one would have to die or live in subservience, but even then the other will not be totally free.
