Heels...HARAAAAM!

Stilettos are not halal for men (possibly).

Ive heard that wearing heels isnt allowed either. Not sure why but i think its because your not suppose to draw attention of the opposite sex which you are clearly doing by wearing heels. :doubt:

When your wearing heels your having to bend a bit forward and move your hips when you walk thats why some think it makes the butt look bigger but when you do a comparison with flats you will noitce flats make you look bigger from the behind.

Heels that make a sound when walking are not allowed to be worn when there are non-mahrams about, just like perfume, revealing clothing, excessive make up, payals/paranda with bells on them etc. this is so that non-mahrams attention isn't drawn to you...otherwise feel free to wear them when in an all girls/family environment.

I think I spoke on heels once.

Its not possible to buy heels that do not make a sound when you walk. I enjoy wearing heels, but dont on account of them being too noisy. :? Its not possible to buy heels with rubber soles/heel caps (to cut out the noise) because they do not exist (on account of my many years of searching). Specialist shoe-repair shops dont even stock on rubber caps for heels.

Flat shoes are very comfortable and good for every-day wear. Some outfits, though deserve to be worn with heels.
