Salam,
Many Muslims go on holiday around Europe or other parts of the non-Muslim world... and they all suffer the same dilemmas:
-Where can I pray?
-Is there any halal food here?
-All the other problems anyone else going on holiday ever faces.
So, what I'm proposing, no, what I'm DEMANDING, is a central hub or source for Muslim holiday makers.
It can start as a website, similar to lonely planet, where anyone can post their tips/info for each country/city - especially places where there aren't big Muslim populations, so finding halal may be difficult.
Once it becomes an international internet phenomenum, it can be released as a handy guide book, updated every year.
There could be 'Halaliday Guides' for every country, and they good fill up a whole shelf in the Waterstones Travel section.
Just remember I own the copywrite for the name 'Halaliday'.
w'salam.

Back in BLACK
Halaliday has to be the revival word of the week!!
May Allah shine sweet faith upon you this day and times beyond. May your heart be enriched with peace, and may your home be blessed always. Ameen.
Do I get a prize?!

Out of (potentially commercial) interest, what features would such a site require?
"For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens 'as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone'" - David Cameron, UK Prime Minister. 13 May 2015.
Err...exactly the same as lonely planet with 'Bismillah' written near the top? I have NO idea.

Never been on that site and for some reason I do not want to. wierd. or extreme laziness.

Basically, there are sections on each region/country/city - in a forum/blog format. Everyone can add their own experiences/tips, and also say which info is wrong/out-of-date, so it stays relevant. There are 'official' entries, written by travel journalists or by collating everyone's expericnces and giving info such as visa/vaccination requirements, and guides for top attractions.
Also, things like 'featured' places of interest, on the front page - and a section on general travel tips.
NOt too hard, is it (All I'm asking for is 10% if the revenue)?

One of my friends does.
Chin up, mate! Life's too short.
Thanks very much  . I know SOME people speak Dutch, it is the native language of at least 2 countries. I (quite clearly) meant if anyone HERE speaks Dutch, but clearly not.

The sign on the side says that "God doesn't exist so make your own choices"
The text seems to be about some Muslims going to a hotel and regretting it. That's what I gathered from my friend.

Thanks. So its basically Islamaphobia, or at least Halalidayaphobia.
