well it seems there have been multiple blasts there today.
I feel for all the dead, their families and friends.
Please read The Revival Press Release. I agree with it and am not repeating those points in this post.
Barring coincidence what who could have done it?
The possibilities:
1. Al Qaeda related
2. Anarchists related to the G8
3. IRA angry at being forcefully sidelined in N.I
4. Gov to push ID cards through.
5. The French retaliating for losing the bid.
Number 4 and 5 are for the conspiracy theorists and virtually implausible.
I would like to believe it has no link to 1. However, currently it is the most likely due to the nature of the attacks, and that a group linking itself to Alqaedah has claimed responsibility.
It is a terrible loss of life. However we must not forget innocent people are dying around the world. The families, friends and acquaintances of those people are also suffering. We must make sure our own goverment is not responsible for those deaths.
If any good can come of this terrible act, it may be allowing britons feel what others have felt for a long time and hold our government to account.
(If you have not figured it out, I lay this squarely at the feet of Bliar for making us a target of international terrorism).
EDIT

Asalamualaikum!
I just read the news, it's so sad.
Yesterday they were all happy celebrating for winning the Olympic 2012 bid and today a desaster happens. One of the reasons why they say you shouldn't laugh or celebrate too much otherwise you'll cry too much afterwards.
I just hope that everyone is fine.
Jazak'Allah khair
"Duniya toh badalti rehti hai...Ey mere Quaid tuh kabhi Na badal janaa"

well, its like 9/11 all over again. get ready for the islamaphobia, the attacks on muslims, hijabi sisters, mosques.....

This was obviously a carefully pre planned attack….
They chose to bomb the heart of London…the most busiest….industrialised place in UK.
Thousands of people travel to central London daily using the buses and underground for work, it’s a tourist attraction, many Universities are situated there, and it’s a decent place for shopping.
On top of that the bombing took place at a peak hour….a time when the underground is the busiest.
Most of London’s roads are totally blocked as a result….
Now it’s all about the inevitable backlash that will be being experienced by Muslims as a result…..
My dua goes to the victims and their families, may Allah (swt) give them strength and Sabr to get through this difficult time.
Wasalaam
The only explanation I've heard regarding the Bombing is that its a al-Qaida attack.
The Al-Qaida is like the bogeymen...as it is the only explanation that crops up whenever something unexplainable happens.
Personally, I think that al-Qaida's style is to cause mass slaughter of unsuspecting people than only a few injured though.
If it was them then they're clearly going downhill compared to 9/11.
Asalamualaikum wr wb!
I just don't understand what do people get out from bombing places whether is London or not.
Killing innocent lives and breaking people's hearts. I don't care whether it was Al-Qaeda or any other group its just simple...useless attacks should not even take place in the first place.
"Duniya toh badalti rehti hai...Ey mere Quaid tuh kabhi Na badal janaa"
They do it to satisfy their anger. This is nihilism. Terrorism is motivated by emotion because if they had the slightest bit of intelligence they would know that this achieves nothing and only strengthens their enemies.
yeh thanks editor bro for remembering,
i hope other forum members are alright.
i actually woke up late this morning, wernt feeling too well, but then thot its best to go into work.

Two people died.
Name of orgination who carried out the bombings:
Secret Organisation Group of al-Qaeda of Jihad Organisation in Europe.
An Islamist website that has published a 200-word statement issued by an organisation saying it carried out the London bombings.
London is OUR city. And I hope those bastards who did this are brought to justice and hung. No mersy for those who kill inoocent civilians.
Omrow
This was not a terrorist attack against the mighty and the powerful. It was not aimed at presidents or prime ministers. It was aimed at ordinary working class Londoners, black and white, Muslim and Christian, Hindu and Jew, young and old. Indiscriminate attempt to slaughter irrespective of any considerations for age, for caste, for religion, whatever.
Ken Livingstone
I agree!!!!
they've turned London upside down
irfan u a member of the MPAC forum aint u? Do me a favour and copy paste the first article on MPAC homepage regarding this attack
Americans are reporting at least 40 dead and 300 injured.
what does that mean? that the casulty's are increasing or that they've got their facts wrong?
irfan get me top article on MPAC's home page
I've heard that there are 20 dead and 150 who have casualties
It might be related with the olympics and France might be getting there revenge.

Islamic group claims London attack
CAIRO, Egypt - A group calling itself “The Secret Organization of al-Qaida in Europe” posted a claim of responsibility for Thursday’s blasts in London, saying they were in retaliation for Britain’s involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The authenticity of the message could not be immediately confirmed.
“Rejoice, Islamic nation. Rejoice, Arab world. The time has come for vengeance against the Zionist crusader government of Britain in response to the massacres Britain committed in Iraq and Afghanistan,” said the statement, translated by The Associated Press in Cairo. The AP was unable to access the Web site where it was posted, which was closed quickly after the reports.
In the new statement, the group said “the heroic mujahedeen carried out a blessed attack in London, and now Britain is burning with fear and terror, from north to south, east to west.”
“We warned the British government and the British people repeatedly. We have carried out our promise and carried out a military attack in Britain after great efforts by the heroic mujahedeen over a long period to ensure its success.”

The British authorities are aware of the massive casualty figures but they don't want to come out and say it too early to avoid causing panic, fear etc. I think. The Americans are under no such restrictions. Italian media is saying there are 50 dead.
There's a fault with the MPAC article. They themselves have placed an inactive url for the article.
its impossible to avoid creating fear -everyone is already crapping it as it is
most Londoners regardless where they live are linked to central london thru some way either work or Uni
Well that is now bad news, Now Islamophobia will be boosted.

Very upsetting day. Thanks to tolerance and in no small part to the comments here there is no suggestion for my part of becoming Islamophobic. That is beacuse Muslims are clearly responding by taking a stand against the jihadi terrorists, and it is a great opportunity for Muslims to make that really clear to all parties. I believe that much of the Islamophobia is actually upset that Muslims are not always really, really clear about terrorism, which is not the case on The Revival.
Latifah u OK?
we've had a attack in central London which has sent ripples throughout the rest of London
everyones depressed, scared and worried for others
this has given me an inkling of an insight as to what the people in Iraq on a daily basis must be feeling like
