Salaam my favourite book has always been An inspector calls'and Of Mice and Men but these are books that i read during my GCSE'S but for my A-level english literature i had to read The Handmaids Tale which i hated itwas apparently based on muslim women at the time of the iranian revolution andhow they were abused by their husbands but know ive had enough of these kind of books i have started reading Dajjal the Anti Christ by Ahmad Thomson which is very interesting.

Read a book the other... man was it soo long.

It started with an Ardvark and ended with a Zebra.

I've never heard of half the things in that book.

oh and the book was called

The Oxford Dictionary... by Mr Oxford no doubt.

To fear love is to fear life, and those who fear life are already three parts dead.

Just brought a bio of Genghis Khan which also seem a good read as well as Art of War.

Genghis Khan, always been intersested in this fella. is the book any good and whos the author? i mite wanna get it if u recommend it

The author is John Man, it seem a good read just finding it hard to get into, but when and if I finish it I will let u know.

I brought the autobio of Chris Eubank very interesting bloke and War Baby which is about my favourite boxing fight ever between Benn and McCelllan. Both books seem really good. I just thought I bring this topic back up as winter coming and I wanted too see if anyone read any good book that they want to recommend.

Currently reading 'My Sister's Keeper' by Jodi Picoult. Re a child conceived purely for the purpose of being a viable bone marrow and blood donor for her dying sister. Controversial subject, written very well - exploring and showing all points of view: the parents, the child in question, the sick child, all other professionals and family involved.

i started reading Garrincha's book

if ur in2 footy....even if ur not, this man was like no other that stepped on the pitch

He is free, he is mad,
He dances with ecstasy and delight.

We worry about every little thing,
But once we get drunk on that love,

POWER TO THE PEOPLE

I love anything by David Gemmel, the guy is really good.

Also I really liked "drinking midnight wine" by Simon Green.

I would also like to recomend Qisasool Ambiyaa, but I can't remeber who its by, disappointed when I finished it, wanted it to keep on going.

he was Porgy.....Pele even said they wouldnt have won the world cup without him (3 times i think)

whats amazing is.......one leg was slightly longer than the other.

his right leg was shaped like ......... )

and his left leg was like............... )

so his legs looked like this )) Biggrin

theres a clip where he skips past one defender.........stops, goes back and does it again....the defender is baffled, cant stop him

3 times Garrincha does this....takes him on, stops, goes back and does it again lol................and on the 4th tym the defender jus stood there and refused to tackle him!!

the great thing about the guy was he had no interest in football, besides playing it. he never followed it, and after he retired he had no interest in it, hence why he led the life of drunkard and soon died as a result! he was simply about playing it, and he was the best at it.

today in Birmingham at one of the stalls there were a few amazing books....but the best one was a book wich showed ALL the belongings of the Prophet SAW and other similarly important items in Islam. it was amazing.
