I posted an 'amazing robot' video before, but this one scares the life out of me. I think it's the buzzing noise, it's like from a sci-fi horror movie or a terrible nightmare or something.
Imagine when they have the technology to give this a gun and a 'seek and destroy' command?!
If you're really impatient, look at the following times:
0.30 1.23 2.20 3.02
But if you can't give up just a few minutes of your life to see the killing machines of tomorrow in action, I worry about your priorities.
Predicted by Matt Groening in Futurama through the suicide booths.

The robot is abit slow, and could easily be taken out by a RPG. They need to give it some wheels, like the ones they have on a tank.
Incase you're interested, here's an unmanned aircraft equipped with hellfire missiles. Israel uses a modified version of this aircraft which can stay in air for upto 24 hours and has a colour and infrared camera for day and night use. It can even see through clouds and smoke!
fyi, to do normal links, just highlight the text and then click the link button.
Or click the button, enter the url, and put the text near the end, just before "[ /url ]" and it will become a link.
Or, just copy and paste it into the test box without using the link button and there will be an automatic link.

Thanks, I was thinking why I was not able to do it.
A quick awareness test. All you gotta do is count how many passes the team in white makes. (It is a road safety advert asking motorists to look out for cyclists.)
I failed miserably on the second test.

The test is abit silly because on the road you're not only looking for one type of vehicle, but all vehicles including cyclists. The reason cyclists are harder to spot, thus are more involved in accidents is because they're much smaller.
I remember once I was turning right into a road. I looked both sides and saw it was clear so I turned right, and when I was turning I suddenly noticed a cyclist inches away from the bumper. The cyclist was wearing dark clothing and had no lights. And to make it worse it was getting dark and was raining. It was due to Allah (swt) that I didn't hit him. This is just one of the many close calls I have encountered.

I was cycling to work last year and was just about to go strait at a crossroads. As I approached the lights turned amber and a brand-new Mercedes accelerated so she would 'beat the lights', she was turning left. She overtook me and turned in front of me because she didn't see me, I hit my breaks and skidded but Alhamdulillah I didn't hit her - but my right pedal scraped her door panel REALLY badly. The car stopped and the driver looked at me - I was wearing a cycling mask and cos I'm really tall I must have looked really scary like Shredder out of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! She didn't say anything, cos she knew it was completely her fault, and drove off. She was going to find her door needed a respray (on a brand new Merc, a few thousand pounds?) but hopefully she'll be more careful next time so she won't get into a crash were someone gets hurt.

Nope - let's just say I was around when there was a fad to send such links to others. Just seeing a clip that starts of very serenely, or asks you to look really closely would give it away most of the time.

Thats quite scary! I hope you were ok :/ I cant imagine why someone would want to run away from an accident that they caused - ESPECIALLY if it caused serious damage.. Having said that its quite easy to miss cycalists and motorbikes, because they are generally on your blind spots - ive almost missed a couple whilst driving

I wasn't in her blind spot, I was in front of her, she just sped up so that she could beat the red light. I wasn't hurt at all - but if I had been going a few mph faster she may have gone strait into the side of me, subhan'Allah.
The worst is when people open their car doors without looking who's coming - if someone went head first into a door they could almost rip it off.
My solution - ban all cars (in cities).

Reminds me of something which happened a few months ago. I was walking to jummah prayer and a car parked up beside a shop. The driver was a young guy and there was a girl next to him in the passenger seat. He was listening to some song on full volume and he opened the door without looking and luckily he was still inside the car, when another car which was passing his car hit his door and crunched it up like paper. The guy (who was at fault) got out and was shouting at the other guy, and was blaming him for the accident.
heh, that was awesome.
