Any chance of making the text darker.

It's straining my eyes as it is.

I already did a few days ago. It is either black atm, or very close to it (I tried a few colours, can't remember what I settled with.). you can compare wit with the old colour which the username, member since etc etc is coloured in. Or do you mean the colour used elsewhere?

I think I will need to change the background colour. I have asked someone else to look into that as on my monitor the colours are fine.

Apparently not all monitors are equal.

What would be embarrassing (and more probable...) is if my monitor was not properly calibrated. But I refuse to entertain that though further.

Can you all go to [url=http://www.imagitek.com/bcs.html]this page[/url] and try these three different hex values for background colour and see which is less glaring?

Although since you've put up this new forum, ive just been using the 'Recent Post' button to see which threads have had new posts.

Either people around here are patient (which I sometimes/somehow doubt...) or they really do not mind the smileys missing too much.

(I will ignore the third option of them thinking it a waste of time to keep "reminding" me about what the site lacks...)

EDIT - fixed. Found the problem - it was on the blog.

Might it look better if instead of having black in the header you use the dark blue from the title font:

I did not realise that... I made a few updates last night, but (almost immediately) after the updates, I lost connection to the 'net - only restored a short while ago. I will look into it.

I have now reverted those changes - quite a few things were broken.

Admin, you know how under the main title it says home>forums>general>topic name etc.

Could you have the same thing at the very bottom of the page too?

Cos when you've finished reading the topic you have to scroll right to the top to go back to the main forum.

This is only annoying on threads with really long posts e.g. drafts of articles

You might not have noticed this, but the bottom of the site is not really finished. It is just blank. I plan on making changes there.
