Using words you do not know the meaning of
Does anyone else do that?
I unconsciously seem to do it a lot.
I have got myself to check the translation when I notice me doing it. Somehow I seem to use them in the right context. beats me how as if you asked me what they mean, I would struggle.

Using words you do not know the meaning of
sometimes. When i have read something i sometimes find myself using words from that reading. Most of the time i tend to check out the words beforehand. I also tend to use words when typing that i would never use when speaking (i think its coz i dont talk in proper sentences and use slang alot).

My twino does that, it's so funny. half of the time the words dunt even make any sense but no one realises.

I sometimes make up words ... real or slang... just to see what the other person says. :twisted:
Me on the Phone: Okay Oz thats cool man. Chill-it-up and Chill-it-out.
Oz:...erm.... erm... okay chillie-do-da then... {hangs up}

thats not very nice.
i used to do something similar at primary school. A bunch of us would make up a film that we'd all watched on tv the night before, and we'd see how many other people in our class would claim to have 'watched' it too just so they fit in with the rest of us.
we then tried to think up more and more ridiculous 'moments' in the 'film' to test the people (who WERE liars after all!)
"Do remember that bit where the guy had to race the elephant?"
"Yeah! that was great, but not as good as the bit when he ate all those pies to stop the bomb going off!"
"What did you think of the opera-singing alien?"
etc
not a very nice thing to do

you do know that 'real slang' is just fake slang that has caught on

try using "slang" words in their correct (original) context. I find that amusing.
