Muslim's in jobs of security

Abbas

Salam,

Today whilst in a supermarket I saw a brother with a beard, well built standing by the door as a security guard. As I walked in and noticed him I paid my Salams and then continued to walk into the store.

It then occured to me what happens if he has to restrain of remove a female from the store (physically)? What hurdles does he face?

The same applies to a muslim police officer. What hurdles do they face if having to arrest a member of the opposite sex, get bitten by a dog whilst attending a call or even responding to a clear out at a bar or brothel?

Where should the lines be drawn and should we take more care in choosing the jobs we take?

Well, I wouldn't hesitate. I would act without stopping to discuss the matter. I think it's terrible to suggest that I should leave you to your fate.
