rulings on standing, bowing, kneeling to other people, kissing and touching their feet?

People can unknowingly worship other people, yes we should have respect (or admiration) but it shouldn't go as far as making more effort pleasing that person than pleasing Allah (swt).
In my humble opinion, we shouldn't be bowing down except when in prayer.
Kissing feet? I could be wrong but i'm pretty sure the Prophet (p.b.u.h) didn't ask for his feet to be kissed and apart from Allah (swt) no one ranks higher than him so why would we kiss the feet of 'normal' people? Although i do understand that it is in some cultures to do this but i personally wouldn't.

The hadiths in which the Companions (ra) kissed the foot or feet of the Prophet, upon him blessings and peace, are known. Imam Muslim asked for permission to kiss the foot of Imam al-Bukhari.
However, there are more details re this.
What i mean is he didn't ask for his feet to be kissed, he didn't expect it - whereas now people expect it to happen.

Well personally i only kiss my nephew's feet (just because he's adorable and his feet are soft and tiny and lovely).
Kissing the person's hands or cheeks to show respect would be better than kissing the person's feet.

As long as you acknowledge the ahadith of kissing the feet, that's fine. Some people will go to great lengths to hide ahadith's about kissing the feet. Video starts properly from 1:23
