weird topic, weirdo comment, i think lack of food has gone to your head lol.
Ironic really we just bought one i mean we need a carpet cleaner of some sort, i don't want my pretty new rug to go 10 shades darker. We got a steam cleaner were expecting to see a colour difference, but nothing. it looked clean but i dont think it removes ingrained dirt. Anyone know anyone got one?
So now we are gona go for a carpet cleaner, the ones that use a solution, but we want an all rounder, one that does all floors since most our house is wood flooring. But you know little babies they tend to vommit a lot, specially when theyre ill, they do that on the rugs and i don't want to think about it. Bissell seems best option expensive though...
As for your topic tis true. The firt major brand vacum we ever got in my mums house was a vax. That was when they were growing in popularity, everyone wanted one lol. It was a vacum and a carpet washer, and truth is we didn't really need or want the washer side of it. In fact it;s still sitting in house now replaced by the dyson.

Those Vax normal carpet cleaners are pretty good I think.
We have a Vax 3 in 1 and it works, but its just tedious and if the carpet is not really dirty, the difference is not always apparent.

see a man with common sense! That's what i told my husband. He thinks the steam cleaner didn't work, but our rug is prob 6 months old, and the kids have yet to wear their muddy shoes in the house they never get passed me...not so far anyway. So i said the steam cleaner prob did work, you can't see colour difference coz its not dirty enough. He returned it anyway. i thght steam cleaner good idea no toxic cleaners around the kids, plus save money coz solutions can cost a lot too.
Anyways he can pay for the carpet washer costs double the price.

Carpets are just high maintenance and smells (slightly) if you don't clean them properly. My mum used to vacuum my room before and after she stopped, I used to vacuum my room atleast once a week before, now its more like once a month.
Our house has wooden flooring apart from most of the bedrooms. My bedroom is next to have have it done. Cant wait.
I've got quite a few anti-bacterial sprays and anti-bacterial wipes. Just need to buy some anti-bacterial hand lotion now...
Wooden flooring in the bedroom?! how uncomfortable!
It seems like a good idea to me. I might do it one day.

Can we get a poll for which is the best vacuum. Would be good as my wife is nagging for a new one. I'm one of those people who prefer to get it right just the 'once'.

and noisy, but it becomes real comfy with a rug
Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?
