Comparison of the compensation by two countries:
Japan - $420,000 for each victim
Iraq - $35 a month. (Victims were forced to "sign a pledge vowing not to work, marry, attend school, use public swimming pools or barbershops, visit a doctor’s office or tell anyone about their condition", punishable by death. Its apparently not new - the youtube upload is from 2007, the clip from 2003 and the referred to incidence 20 odd years ago.
But still shocking.
