salaam all,
i was wondering ...how many people are actually boycotting denmark?

-Become who you were born to be-

Truthfully..

nope........i wish i could

need support.... i remember doing it one time to boycott Apartheid Israel and india..

Cant get enough of danish pastrys...butter cookies..

My mums been using danish butter since she settled in England from denmark...she wont have it.

might get negative comments but i will. As far as i know i only use one danish product, some butter. I always thght it was a new zealand product though. Anyway i'm sure i can live without it. I'll put my money into a british butter.

Us Boycotting Danish Products is like Iraqi's n Afghanis etc boycotting British cheese made by a Muslim who exports his stuff etc etc.

The danish Dairy and cookie makers had nuffin to do with it.

well if you were an afghani or iraqi and u saw foreign forces killing your ppl, destroying your homes i doubt you'd be eager to buy their produce either. They have every right to boycott British goods, who can blame them. When our pockets get hit that's when we start to give a damn about anything. Money seems to be more important than maintaining our sense of morality. You should remain true to what you believe in, and if that means boycotting so be it. I don't feel sorry for the Brits in that sense. You reap what you sow.

If you don't see it as important then it's you're right to continue purchasing them.

If you wish to but find it difficult then I completely understand it can be very hard, everyone has to decide what's right for them.

Besides, the Danish gov and newspaper has learnt its lesson: You can't diss Muslims and expect to get away with it.

If we want to do anything to help we should keep an eye on the affairs of Muslims in Denmark. Denmark is, according to an EU or EC report, the most racist country in Europe.

Forming links with Muslims in Denmark, helping them to lobby Danish institutions, PR advice etc etc is what should be done. They need an MPAC.

France seems the most racist in Europe to me they republished all cartoons again, against the wishes of many ppl. Plus their reasons for banning the headscarf were ridiculous, and what they made these sisters suffer and continue to suffer is unforgiveavble. If that isn't taking away the basic human right what is.

Danes never came into the spot light until this.

Which European country wanted to ban the burqa, i read an article did it pass as a law?

The Netherlands and Italy want to ban the burqa. Don't know how far it's gotten in terms of becoming law.

Yea that's what I think

it happened in Holland

is was reading a letter sent in to a newspaper (guess which!), and this what it said:

"the Danes biggest exports are Pork, Carlsberg and Pornography. I cant see how any boycotts from the Middle East are going to have any effect"

made me laugh Lol

the only thing danish i knw is Lurpak Butter - an Asian fav

He is free, he is mad,
He dances with ecstasy and delight.

We worry about every little thing,
But once we get drunk on that love,

Lurpak...makes nice parathas..

Im in support of the boycotting really..

I had intentions, people wont let that happen what can i do.

The boycott of muslim countrys amounting to a loss to the Danish economy so far being good and proving the point has been effective.

So big up to the part takers of the boycott.

I am not boycotting Denmark products. Only on Monday I bought Danish butter.

Denmark is a nice nation and Danes are good people.

As far as I am concerned they have not done anything wrong.

I will continue to buy Danish things. I really dont know what the fuss is all about.

Come on people. Chill. Its only cartoons.

Omrow

prince it has been effected the dairy products produced by Arla have been hit hard. They had to stop production in a few countries until the demand increases. That's why they've got campaigns on now promoting danish products counter attacking the muslim boycotts. But they're helping muslims aswell coz if you go to the sites promoting danish products u get a comprehensive list of products to boycott Dirol .

this site was the first i came across it made me so angry i returned the finger to the tree, you'll understand if you see the picture lol No comment on the person who made that site :x

skim down to the bottom of the page the list is there and a few links to non food products you may buy.

I've checked out a website apparently the first two digits on european barcodes represent the country it's from it's 57 for denmark. It's easier to look out for the companies though.

lol faithfreedom is run by a convert from Islam, maintained by other converts from Islam for the purpose of encouraging conversion from Islam and helping converts from Islam overcome prejudice and maltreatment.

Hes an person due to the... less than receptive... response he recieved when he converted.

Not surprised at the death threats he recieved.....

he had the nerve idiot... would have slapped him silly..

Yash : JazakAllah for that......yes that pic made me angry gosh. :x

I just had a look at the link on faithfreedom

what a idiot

such comments are just made by people to insult and spur on the hatred towards islam. he is only trying to back up his racists thoughts and predujice towards islam with false facts. Woe be to him as surely he would have to answer to god for his sins like as all. imagine the punishment that awaits him twisted

he makes some idiodic remarks regarding our beloved prophet (pbuh) , there are countless thousands of primary source references to the prophets(pbuh) exemplorary characteristics, personality, behaviour and acts. let the accuser back up his accusations , i can easily make the same accusations against jesus(pbuh) or moses(pbuh).

In addition he takes qoutes out of the quran without showing them in their full context , he distorts and manipulates the truth to backup his absurd and false view in islam, anyone could do the same to the bible or tora.

Moreover like a typical propagandists he shows muslims committing terrorist attacks and attributes to all muslims

what a fool, im sure there are many sites like this hating islam and many people doing this undercover, but such comments will only drive muslims more towards islam.

since 9/11 the number of qurans sold increased dramatically thus the number of converts , also in uk since more muslims are getting descriminated against it just driving people towards islam, islam is still the fastest growing religion in the world inspite of peoples effort to attack and tarnish the name of islam as best they can.

nothing to be glad about.

Ignore him. Defeat his arguments. Move on.

That is what I think we should do.

my three pronged onepoint plan.

"For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens 'as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone'" - David Cameron, UK Prime Minister. 13 May 2015.

who is glad

i was just empahsizing a point

i agree admin , its not worth wasting our time on

Former muslims. Or at least so they say - anybody can be anybody on the internet I suppose. However judging by their extensive knowledge of Islamic subjects I have no reason to doubt them.

When people give up something that they believed their whole lives - their friends and family, and the community around them believes, they can react in some pretty incredible ways. There are a number of converts on this forum who have had a different reaction adjusting to the change from Christianity or atheism to Islam, than the former member Elizabeth Thompson Khan who is now a raving racist psychopath.

I don't know much about how people make the transition - perhaps some of you converts can shed light here, but I suppose it depends on the strength of character of the person, and the level of support they recieve from friends and family. Ali Sina and the rest of them all seem to indicate the same experience, conversion from Islam meant isolation, death threats and a great deal of mistreatment. I can see why they are so angry. However I think it's important when browsing that website to remember that these are (for the most part) the writings of angry irrational persons who are lashing out at all muslims for the mistreatment they recieved and their insults should be taken with a grain of salt.

There are a number of people who post articles or on the forum, who have left islam and are not nasty about it. Mostly women who converted to Islam for all the wrong reasons in the first place - asian boyfriend, converted under pressure to marry, not accepted by the family "back home," domestic abuse and all that. For the most part they don't spit the venom and rage of Sina.

I have mixed feelings on the website. Obviously I don't have a problem with people leaving Islam - especially those who chose to come back to Christ or embrace him for the first time. However the incredible anger and vile insults of many of the contributers is really quite saddening. I can certainly see why muslims would be offended by what's said - especially by Sina in particular, since it's obvious he very much means to offend.

You can see what I mean if you read that brief link of the muslim who just wanted to express his sincere sorry that Sina had left - it was perfectly polite not remotely offensive but Sina went into a tirade about death threats and lawsuits. That's pretty much his personality now... he very much seems like a loose cannon with absolutely no direction.

I think he is atheist now.

What do you think the ten year old, whose father just lost his job at a danish plastics plant because of the boycott, is going to think of Islam or muslims right now and as he grows up?

What will his unemployed father tell him about muslims and Islam?

I can understand boycotting the Danish newspaper or the press itself - but the entire country seems way over the top to me...
