Asallam Muallaikum Muslim and Non-Muslim brothers and Sisters
Hi this is a topic i wanted to discuss a very long time ago but never had courage to do so but here i am with some.
i am qurious to find out either from some who knows a lot about this matter or an Islamic figure who can give me full details on this subject matter!
if i decide to read The Quran (Holy book of Islam), or pray Namaz (praying to Allah swt), or make Dua (innovation to Allah swt) in English or any other languages apart from Arabic.
Firstly is it right to do so? If not when is it right to do so?
Secondly what if i cant read or understand Arabic can i learn its translation instead to help with rememberance and learning? E.g. making a dua after Namaz (praying to Allah swt) do it in English or other language apart from Arabic? Would i also recive the same Suab or even is it even Suab?
Finally when is it right/cumpalsory/suab to recite or know things in Arabic? or know things properly in the language which an individual can understand?
please if your gonna reply to this thread please be simple and specific
Thank You and Peace
Masalam (Goodbye)
Namaaz must be done in Arabic unless you can't speak or read it but you must be learning it.
DuAs can be done in english.
Quran can be read in english so that you may understand it but it should be read it arabic to. Allah and his Beloved love those who struggle to read the quran.
And yes you will receive same the same reward as long as your intentions are right.
