I'm in Uni
i hate it-
i hate the structure-i hate my course- i hate the lack of teacher intervention
looking back at my education years-i feel that my high school years were the most fun
it was full of jokes and the work was easy too
i hated college and slept thru nursury
they say school days are the best years of ur life
which school year in particular was the best year of ur life?
y11 best days evaaaaaaaa
made tho most of it too cos i knew afta that everyone wud be doin there own thing at a diff college or sixth form etc hated the fact that our sch wasnt a sixth form sch cos i wudav def stayed on!!
lookin bk now yup i too feel the wrk was so much easier if i cud i wud go bk to y10/y11
went to registration twice in the whole yr had the safest form teacher who signed me in regardless of whether i was there r not n sch used to finish at 2.40 so used to get hme b4 3!!
To be beautiful is to expect nothing in return.
My best school years were:
year 8- the teachers didnt care abt us, because we werent newbies anymore (year 7s), nor were doing our SAT's (year 9s)nor our GCSE's (year 10+11) so we were left to our own devices and got away with loads.Stink balls and spit balls were common occurrences
Year 10-i sortv gained independence and cuz most of form class were separated for different subjects, we cherished the time we had with each other which was extra fun.
and also year 12 and 13- although these two years were/are the most stressful for me, us friends have matured so much that we dont have petty arguments over nethng and just do everythng together
School days are most definitely the best days of my life, they either make or break you

I would say 6th year, last year in seconday....full of mad crazy/daring stuff (which you wouldnt ever catch me doing now), full of fun/laughter and loads and loads of skiving....if i could turn back the clock would i do all that? Hmm since I have matured (i think I have :? ) I probs would do none of that. Do I regret it? Nope. It was fun while it lasted.
I have finished uni and I feel much better now coz uni stresses you out way too much which surely can't be good for ones health!
Life is like a box of chocolates.
"For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens 'as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone'" - David Cameron, UK Prime Minister. 13 May 2015.
What do you mean?
You never know what you're gonna get.
-Nursery years. I cant really remember it.
-Primary school. In my first primary school I was bullied. Thankfully I was too young and naïve to get affected by it. My second primary school was a bit of a low achieving school. So I never felt intellectually challenged… I was always bored and frustrated until I got involved in all the clubs, from netball, drama, Extension English etc.
-High School. Socially it was the best years of my life, I had many friends and was always laughing, having fun, playing jokes etc
-College. I went to a Catholic girl’s school full of rich, snobby girl. I had to change the way I acted to fit in with the snobs. I didn’t like the girls and chose the wrong A levels.
-Undergraduate. My degree in Education was SO boring. It was totally theoretical and pointless. I assumed that, that was the only route into teaching…had I known any different I would have chose Child Psychology or English Literature….however, I really matured and “grew up” in University. I had a personality make-over and met people who changed my outlook on life/the world etc
-Postgraduate. Even though I’m only a third way into my course. For the first time ever, I’ve felt like I chose the right course….the sessions are so fascinating, I love all my lecturers, I love the people on my course as they ALL share the same passion as me…..I’m having so much fun….. however, the placement/practical side of the course is a nightmare. Thankfully half of the time is spent in Uni.
Secondary school was a blast. Loved all of it esp y9 and y11, in y9 i almost got kicked out but i turned on the water works and promised to be a good girl next time... like hell that happened! Water fights were so much fun in the summer. All the subjects which i hated i loved. P.E was a buzz with the whole class and Drama was probally the funniest subject ever! I don't think i hated anything, well apart from waking up at 7.30am!!!!
Wish i could go back, miss them days so much
I miss every year of school life.............primary through to secondary!! The only worry I ever has was 'have I done my homework?' and 'how do I tell my parents that I've got detention?!!'
**do they still have detentions?**
live and let live!!!!!!!
Yup and they are much more stricter in punishment now.
Schoo; years really are amazing.
I think year 9 was quite magical, I pulled of quite a few flukes in football and the elan I experienced while playing was superhuman. I could run until I wanted to drop, but if there was a hole in the defence I'd be back in there. The coolest part was falling into the zone and taking a shot, way cool. I still remember the trainners I wore.
Year 9 was the last year our form group was together before being mixed up, in the last lesson we had (friday last period, music) the teacher had us all do a power circle thing, which corny though it was, we all got into. Kind of teary at the end.
Reception and nursery were pretty cool too. Paining, playing and having fun.
Gentleness and kindness were never a part of anything except that it made it beautiful, and harshness was never a part of anything except that it made it ugly.
Through cheating, stealing, and lying, one may get required results but finally one becomes
Dont remember much about primary school other than taking naps, free milk + cookie & the games we playd.
Primary school was great had such a laugh back then... oh how we were soo trouble free....hhhhhhhmmmmmmmm
Secondary school was a pain in the a$$ for the first couple of years... then around the end it was alot better... i guess alot of us had matured alot more by then.
College was ... well theres not really a better word than great...
Undergraduate + Postgraduate are absolutely tops.
In the end it comes down to you as a person. You get what you put into school. You reep what you sow. In order to have a good time at school, college, uni you have to work at it, put some effort in.
You are who you choose to be.
Back in BLACK
Its so weird bumping into people you went to school with...I was inseperable with a couple of girls from high school...we even wore our hair the same... yet now, when I see people from school....too many of us try not to meet peoples eye.
I suppose...its not nice being asked "so what you up do these days"....or "so what've you done since school"....
I hate meeting people from school. Most of the ones I come across haven't done much since school. When I ask them 'so what do you do' they reply they're working (in not a very good job) or unemployed, I feel embarrased to tell them I'm in uni.
That question irks me too...cos amongst girls there's a LOT of competition. And its not just acedemic its in all spheres of life....such as..."so what car you driving now? how much you earning? how much weight have you lost? how many designer handbags do you have now...and so forth.
I'm a pretty secure girl. But dislike people being nosy and competitive.
College is so boring! It's been 5 weeks and i haven't had a proper lesson so far. I've only been coming into college for like 1/2 hours max for the whole week and been getting free ema
Im thinking of leaving this course at the end of this year and taking up another A-Level preferably at a sixth form and not college!!!!
But.. the only thing is i HATE exams and i CANT revise and the course which i'm doing at the mo doesn't require any exams at all and is worth 3 A-levels. So i'm stuck! I don't wana go to uni doing something i hate or something which i don't have a real intrest in.
Is it essential to have done a-levels in the course you wana do at uni or a course which is along the same sort of lines??
Even though as mush as i loved school i also hated the fact that after finishing school it just the half way point of my education life!
Now that im in Uni i luv it because im gonan finish it in 3moths hhhhhuuuurrrraaaayyyyyy tttooooooooooo cartooonnn life and booooooooooooo to the real-life which is gonna start reeeaaalll soon Jokes!
