Run by Futures in partnership with Muslim Youth Helpline, this taster session is a chance to find out about the Muslim Youth Helpline's work and how you can get involved.
Muslim Youth Helpline is the UK's first faith and culturally sensitive support service for young Muslims. They offer a free and confidential service available nationally via the telephone, email, internet, a face to face befriending service in the Greater London area and an interactive peer support site, www.muslimyouth.net.
Volunteers are at the heart of MYH and this taster evening will be an opportunity for you to find out more about the different ways you can help; you can ask questions, talk to current volunteers and find out how rewarding this kind of volunteering can be as well as how easy it is to get involved.
You can ask questions, talk to other people who've volunteered with Muslim Youth Helpline before and find out how rewarding this kind of volunteering can be as well as how easy it is to get involved.
