Net win

Today I what I call a net win day.

Firstly I fudged around with theme on this site. Previously, it broke when viewing large images in internet explorer. Now it breaks when viewing large in Internet Explorer. Just differently. Something that will go unnoticed on most pages. (I am only aware of one topic with large images - the Jummah Mubarak topic)

While doing this, I also managed to find the missing 20pixels that Internet Explorer was stealing (in short, I was not using the available width as Internet explorer was making the page wider than it should have been on some pages, but not all. The proper browsers out there was doing what they were being told to do.) I doubt anyone will notice this, but it is one less thing on my ToDo list.

Made a couple of other small changes to the theme (you will no longer see a breadcrumb if it only (used to) says "Home") - a change that no one will probably notice. Added default subjects to comments. probably unnoticed by the majority too.

Tried a few things more radical, but they did not work out. Played around with darker colours and came to the conclusion I need to use darker colours. Just need to decide which ones.

Sent a "sort of" patch (sort of because it is more of a guide. Change this ti this instead of apply this file.) to another project so that it may become usable faster for me. played around with said project to see what stage it was at.

and I looked for a job but never got anywhere.

A few minor successes here and there, so it's a net win day.

What a valuable use of time!

Don't just do something! Stand there.
