Today was our first day out in the community fund raising for Gaza, because as i've clearly shown in other blogs I care & I really wana do summat to help the peopple.
We brought a stall at the local islamic school's summer fair. We had mendhi & water bomb games going off. We made £123.48 exactly, it lasted 3 hours from 1 till 4 and I think it went quite well mashallah.
We raised a good amount of money & we had a good day i'm absolutely shattered but it was a very good day. From being drenched by little kids with water baloons to talking to brothers & sisters about whats happening in Gaza and their views on everything.
But at the end of the day I'm home now everythings gone away & I'm thinking about the day & well it was actually great, i loved it. I hope the other events that we hope to have will go just as well & be great days which we will remember. but at the end of today I thought of my uncle and my cousin. Maybe people are sick of hearing about it now but I just wanted to say that everything that I did today and I have been doing, it has something one of them taught me. I hope that Allah(swt) rewards them for all the good that I do and inshallah grants them a place in jannah. Ameen.
Thankyou Uncle Kash, & Safy for making me the person I am today & even though your not here, I will continue to do the things you both taught me in hope that allah(swt) recognises the good that you did through the actions I will never fail to do.

thanks for the update!! i so wanted to know what was happening and i thought you forgot about us LOL.
and no, i dont think anyone is tired of hearing about your uncle and cousin, they sound like great people that really influenced you in a positive way mashaAllah.
btw, i like the water bombs idea, what did they have to do?
Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?
the water bombs well, it was an incredibly hot day, & there was going to be lots of little kids, so, at first we disigned a sort of game about throwing them in buckets but even i personaly thought it was rather boring so then my brother volunteered to get splat by little kids, so kids paid to splat him, when he was too wet, my bestfriend got splat my children & when she was done well it was my turn & it was actually rather fun we went throught that cycle quite a few times that day. Was etrememly fun
