you shouldve put another option
forums such as islamic awakening, ummah forums and others are better thats why
although thats noit my reason i personally think its slow
and because its sufi related
Sorry, that exact thing didn't come to mind, but I'm guessing it is one or some of the above factors which play atleast play some part in making this website worse, in your opinion?
(And you using that option, if there was one, would not be valid since you still do post on here)
EDIT: I saw Abuela's second reply after posting mine.

abualabbasassaffah not abuela
and slow would be the factor and the content and features are not even in the same league from 10 years ago in ummah forums
I recall asking you if it was alright for me to shorten it to that, and you said yes. Anyway I refuse to keep typing that long username.
I think the content is different because the target audience is different. Ummah forums aren't specifically targetting youth, whilst revival are. So, yes, some content may not be so detailed etc.
Re: Sufi related
The forum comments and blogs are not from one particular group, anyone can have their say. The magazine focuses on issues the youth feel - being British young Muslims and everything that comes with that identity. It is not necessarily focusing on aqeedah - there are lots of places which do that, and it does not mean to focus on such divisions. If you feel there have been articles which may alienate some people, give the editor your feedback.
JazakAllah

I used to post now and again when I was sat on the East Side of the office. Since my promotion, I'm sat back to back with the manager and he can see my screen so I don't really get a chance to write anything more than the odd comment. I used to like writing things. Most of them were just personal experiences rather than accumulated knowledge that I had stored up and needed to pass on to fellow Muslims (like Imams do).
Anyway, coming back to the point, there's not a box up there to cover my situation.
calm down brother i was just joking about the name thing,
i know everyone here might think i must be one of thsoe brother who never smiles and is always serious like almuhajiroun brothers
but im not like that
Prove it. Post a picture of your smile. We don't believe you.
Point 8 is the one for you
@NS I consider u a regular even though u don't get to post blogs anymore (Which are missed )

didnt even see who i was talking with all this time i thought it was someone else
Don't worry. This contract only has about a month to go. I'A in the next one I won't be sat where a manager can see my screen and my blogs can resume. I have a bit of catching up to do. Soooo much still unsaid.
Watch this space...
I actually watched that ^ a couple of days back, and it just made me sighhh.
They.are.so.utterly.adorable. !!!
Made my daay. (Y)
becauase this place is dead unless i start a new thread which always gets attention and high posts
see its my threads in the last 2 months that got the highest views and posts
It's certainly dead but your threads haven't improved anything. It's just two people going round in circles.
More people posting more interesting stuff is needed
"How many people find fault in what they're reading and the fault is in their own understanding" Al Mutanabbi
atleast posts are being made otherwise its dead zero
Quality over quantity mate
EDIT: that's probably a little unfair, I'm not sure of the quality of either of ur posts - in terms of your knowledge etc BUT going round in circles is lame.
"How many people find fault in what they're reading and the fault is in their own understanding" Al Mutanabbi
Yeah of course it were only YOU who lightens this place up. Can't even imagine what would become of this place without your existence (!) (FYI, notice the sarcasm)
I guess people would prefer to spend their time wisely instead of constantly debating and arguing over what is Bi'dah and what is not.
Smileys are Bi'dah.
Please refrain from using them.
Speak for yourself
i dont know if you're joking or not. but in case you arent. this site was alive and well before you came around. and once upon a time it was alive, well and KICKING before even I was around. (not that im old or anything)
i feel like being sarcastic now. but i wont.
Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?
Once upon a time implies a long time ago, which doesn't really help our case
"How many people find fault in what they're reading and the fault is in their own understanding" Al Mutanabbi
IMO this place doesnt need to be the biggest or busiest in the world, just useful to whoever uses it.
But yes a little more is always better. apart from when I get grumpy having to read every post because I havent set up some sane moderating system.
"For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens 'as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone'" - David Cameron, UK Prime Minister. 13 May 2015.
thanks for the backup TPOS LOOOL
nyways, this abu guy, the one above. he sounds diff from his religious post doesnt he?
sigh..i wont say what i came on here to say.
Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?
i prefare as-saffah not that i hae a problem with abu
and to the others quite obvious you didnt read the posts properly, because the bidah definition and statement you made to me regarding the smiley is you's (the member) view not mine, so in a way you dissed him indirectly rather then me
