As always, the brother's talk just inspires you, and makes you look at and assess your current life style and goals from a completely different angle.

These talks act as excellent reminders for me personally as i often forget or look past the fact that Allah is the best of planners, i can try as hard as i wish to become something in this life, but without his blessings....my efforts would be of no value in terms of accomplishing desired goals...

plus i would like to say that pursuing a career and an education hasn't taken over my life...but the sad truth is that it has...and i sometimes completely lose perspective...finding that balance is something which i haven't been able to accomplish as of yet...nafs is a horrible thing, disguised in so many different forms
