Turkey is to challenge Israel's blockade on Gaza at the International Court of Justice, amid a worsening diplomatic crisis between the once close allies.
The announcement by Turkish foreign minister Ahmet Davutoglu appears to rebuff UN secretary general Ban Ki-moon's attempt to defuse the row over Israel's armed assault on a Gaza-bound aid flotilla in which nine people were killed.

The report contains the non legal opinion of former columbian president Evo Morales who says that the blockade is legal (and this was not the main focus of the new report either) and Turkey challenges that and will take it to court.
It also says it will take more assertive action in the medditerranean, no idea what that means yet but it could mean escorting aid ships to Gaza (maybe once statehood is officially declared on 20 September 2011) or could simply be about protected its interested around Cyprus where Greek Cyprus has been selling oil exploration contracts.
I dont think anything will actually change, do you?
But why did Ban Ki Moon say that it (Israel) was justified in maintaining a naval blockade on the Palestinian enclave? questions..need to go back and read pal/isr conflict :/
