Medal of Honour: Taleban Edition
Fox urges ban on Taliban video game
Defence Secretary Liam Fox has urged shops to ban a computer game where players can act as the Taliban and kill British troops.
Dr Fox said he was "disgusted" that Medal of Honor allowed people to recreate attacks on Nato forces.
An updated version of the popular game, due to be released in October, is based on the struggle between allied special forces and the Taliban - with players being allowed to choose which side they want to represent.
A clip on the YouTube website shows a Taliban soldier fighting in southern Helmand province, where UK forces are based.

I bet it wouldnt have been such a big deal if it was the british killing the taliban
Re: Medal of Honour: Taleban Edition
oh, there is that in the game too - that is the main game.
Re: Medal of Honour: Taleban Edition
EA just outsold any previous Medal of Honour with the sheer amount of press this game is getting!
Plus, as in all modern shoot em ups, once you take it online, somebody always plays "the enemy", and who cares? It's just a game!
Re: Medal of Honour: Taleban Edition
What rubbish! What about the WW2 games? CoD? Where you can play as the Germans? Shouldnt they be banned aswell then? Incase they offend? And 2ndly there are no brits depicted in this game, so whats all the fuss about?
And yet here we are years after playing them and no one said anything. Its a game. Build a virtual bridge and get over it.
Sick game, would have played it but can't due to me quitting games 🙁
