Were you not the leader of the party that was most sane on the issue of Palestine? Were you not for an arms embargo on Gaza?
Has that changed since your alliance with the Conservatives? You seem to have sold your soul.
Where is the Prime Minister to state the terrible nature of this assault?
And how about condemning this act insted of Mr Hague being forced to deplore the loss of life? Mahdi Hassan explained it well:
I like the line about "the loss of life", as if the people on those ships died in a natural disaster, or from heart attacks, rather than from Israeli gunfire. Notice also that Hague's first criticism is, implicitly, of the people who were killed ("We have consistently advised against attempting to access Gaza in this way...") Pathetic.

yes where is he?
i'm waiting for him to make an appearance.
The Lib Dems's Ming Cambel was on BBC News earlier... with a line that sounded an awful lot like "The protesters may have brought it on themselves".

Maybe we should occassionally follow the guidance of Allah(swt) who tells us not to take the disbelievers as allies/protectors... Never will they be happy with you till you follow they way of life... What they say by their tongues is one thing, what their hearts conceal is worse...
How often have they deceived our trusting forefathers?
How often have such political leaders said one thing and done another?
The problem is the evil ideologies they carry - the results are evil... it is just a matter of time before one sees the results - but we should be used to the same predictable results of all such parties...
The trick is to realise that they may not do something to "help the Muslims", but they might to help themselves... so you play on how such a thing benefits them.
I think I also need to add that the European Union - a Non Muslim entity - is the biggest single donor of aid to the Gazans and it is important to acknowledge such facts where Non Muslims are helping other people including Muslims.
