Sorry for late reply yes i been there 3 times now and its a great place beautiful but hectic been to cairo luxor and alexandria
I was there in april for 3 weeks went to see friends and family

I hope to go at the end of this year InshaAllah mainly to study - there are too many options to choose from though (which doesn't help!) =S

Cairo's lovely, but hectic on a NEXT level. Have u looked at Damascus?

Tbh i haven't. I've literally spent months and months researching (and finally deciding on) Cairo! Now I'm trying to find people from there to help me decide which study place to pick (there are quite a few possibles!).

Have you been to Damascas (or Cairo)? If so what was the reason for your trip? (if you don't mind sharing) 🙂

I've been to both. Both were for holidays.

And then I went to Damascus again to live for about 9 months. I'm not sure I got out as much as I could/should have, but I think it's a good place. They are both really exciting cities (although very, very different).

in terms of Cairo, I think MuslimSister lives there at the moment. maybe you should send he a personal message asking about exactly what you want to know.

Just a quick question regarding your stay in D for 9 months - how did you find your accomadation? Did you look when actually getting there or before?
