The spring one makes the evening later, os suddenly you get a day that lasts longer.

Instead of it going dark just before 7, it goes dark just before 8. Win.

But the morning is where the payback is. The none/one/few day(s) it takes to re adjust to the new morning.

Apparantly about 50 years ago or something, the government decided it was really silly to change the time, since it was just shifting everyone to wake up an hour ealier, so they changed the working hours in offices and stuff and kept the time to GMT (winter time).

There was CHAOS!!! People kept crashing their cars into lamp-posts, ducks started laying cube-shaped eggs and everyone's milk went sour more quickly. The government never tampered with the delicate balance of things, ever again.

Possibly.

Remember that you can update the timezone on your account too by clicking on "my account" on the left followed by edit and go to the bottom.

Question - should that stay configurable or should I force everyone to have the same timezone:

Pro: everyone would not need to change the timezone in spring/autumn.
Con: people not in the UK will not be able to see their local time.
