how extremely scary. Her wishing you goodness is a form of love. She "loves" you then. In a way i find more coherent and shapely and just generally easier to understand.

Love is a mixture of many things that when two people are close enough or when they cat be bothered so say the longwinded description of their feeling just summarise it with that four letter word.

To me the word love is a summary. Summaries arent used at the beginning of a story.
