Fateful Rizq

I've been decluttering stuff left right and centre.
Alhamdu lilah, what a joyous feeling !

I want to share a recent personal experience
with you.

So I've got 2.5TB worth of external hard drives.

I bought a program that finds repeat files so that
I can delete them.

Turns out that I had repeat files on them AND
on my MAC (which is another 2TB)

So that's about 3 TB of repeat files !!!

Why ?
Well, I'd just pile it on because I was afraid
incase I lost stuff, then I wouldn't have the time
to look through everything.

So it clicked recently that this was just a lack
of security. I was whim-ing for security and as
such I ended up lacking it.

I bought the program (Gemini - for MAC) and
let it do it's thing.

Then I moved all the training videos/articles
that I purchased over the years to an external
drive... about 700 GB worth.

Stuff that I wasn't using - why have it clutter
my MAC, but that I felt was still worth keeping.

(Training worth more than £10k)

That external drive doesn't work anymore !

It's going to cost £350 to 'chance' getting it
fixed... and you know what ?

I don't care.

I'm not wishing that I didn't do it, I don't
regret accidentally removing it before ejecting
it... I just don't care.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love for it to work...

... but rizq/wealth isn't just what you have.

It's what you use and for how long.

So if you've got 100 suits in your wardrobe,
are you any wealthier in any given day than
a guy who has just one ?

No. You're not.
Because.
You will only wear one suit that day and so
will he.

So in terms of number of suits, you are equal.

And it's the same with knowledge.

I paid attention and learnt from everything that
I bought at the time. I kept that knowledge
backed up so to speak... but the truth is, whatever
I wasn't implementing I didn't actually have.

That's the truth.

And I don't know if I'd have gotten round to
re-watching the tens and hundreds of hours
worth of training anyways...

... so actually, in terms of rizq, it's like I never
had it in the first place !
(except what I have in my mind)

This is part of the reason that the
and the programs are not
just about knowledge.

They're about experience and changing.
Every module is a positive change in you.

Anyways, I digress... but I did want to share
this experience with you.

Sometimes we think we've lost things that we
never actually really had.

Like a client I once had who was so heartbroken
that his girli-frend (spelt in Egyptian English)
had left him (he wasn't Egyptian by the way)

She had cheated on him. He wasn't a Muslim
and neither was she (alhamdu lilah).

I looked him in the eyes, oosing with pleasure
as I said:

"Aren't you glad you found that out and that
she got rid of herself for you before you got
married and had a couple of kids ?"

He stopped crying Smile

See, he thought that he had lost true love.
But he didn't. He never had it to start with.

Then I made him realise that his perception
of true love, as a perception, was still true...
that the feelings he had were still feelings...

And that all this meant was that he was
capable of loving and falling in love.

He did it once, he can do it again, but
next time... due dilligence mate.

So when you loose something, maybe it wasn't
really yours to start with...

...and even if it was, the one who gave you it
took it back...

... and he can give you more !

The good news is that when you invest in yourself,
you can loose the hard drive, but you won't
loose the memories and experiences that
you've reaped and harvested.

Enjoy !
