Now and Then

Right now, I feel like I only have two days to go. I feel that in two days, I won't be able to eat and drink during the day so I should make the most of it now.

I wonder if I'll feel like that in 30 days time. Will I be thinking "there's only two days to go so let me grab as much reward as possible"

Are you being reminded of death? I don't know why but the theme of death seems to be a really hot topic on here.

Thats normal. Fasting is a good way for you to... rememeber whats important in life.

Nah - I was talking about two days until Ramadan and how I feel i need to eat to prepare for it. and then I was wondering if I'll be feeling about ibadah by the end of Ramadan the way I feel about food now ie get in as much as possible before Ramadan runs out.

(if that makes sense)

Well once i know Ramadhan is literally round the corner, i tend to not stock up. I focus on trying to stay without food for a few hours just so that i can become used to it, and then it won't be soo hard trying to follow a new routine.

When it comes to breaking my fast, i feel the urge to eat everything that i would've normally eaten throughout the day. Sometimes i eat soo much, that i feel bloated and then it hurts when i try moving around, so i have to take a rest and then start praying and doing chores later on.
