EMERGENCY PROTEST IN SUPPORT OF BABAR AHMAD AND TALHA AHSAN

WHEN: Friday 5th October, 10.00am-1.00pm
ADDRESS: Royal Courts of Justice, Strand, London, WC2A 2LL
Nearest Tube: Holborn/Temple
The cases of Babar Ahmad and Talha Ahsan are currently being heard before the High Court. Their lawyers are seeking a judicial review of the CPS decision refusing to allow the private prosecution to proceed.
The verdict is expected on this Friday morning.
If the judge rules against them, there will be no further appeal and their extradition to the US is likely to take immediate effect.
We are calling for all our supporters to join us Friday outside the Royal Court of Justice, from 10.00am in solidarity with the families and to send a message that the ruling is of significant public interest.
Try to take a day off and give your solidarity and support so a message can be sent to the Judges that their decision is being watched by the community and public at large.
These men and their families are in need of our support today. If it was your brother, husband or son would you be complacent? Wouldn't you want as many people to turn up as possible?
Act now before it is too late - tomorrow it could be you.
