Last week the above video went viral when a 15 year old spoke out as part of a public speaking competition for so eloquently speaking about Palestine.

British-Palestinian Leanne Mohamad, a 15-year-old student, won a regional final of the Jack Petchey Speak Out Challenge with her speech ‘Birds not Bombs'.

Online people applauded the eloquence of the speaker and many congratulated her both for the content and her success.

Not everyone.

Cue the Israel supporters and trolls going on their own mission to victimise this young speaker.

Their aim is to prevent solidarity with Palestinians and to prevent speech attacking Israel (while simultaneously asking for free speech - in support of Israel).

Leanne has now been expelled from the competition, in what is a shicking act of bullying by pro Israel supporters and zionists who could not let even a child speak out with hope, a message promoting children to hear birds not bombs.

Leanne in social media had shared content that was hateful of Israel and jews. This was a (less than) 15 year old who had been exploring her ideas online, only for master trolls and bullies to take issue with it. They could not attack the content of her public speaking submission, so they looked for other ways to attack her.

These same bullies who cry wolf now would have either been silent or cheering on the actions of Israel less than 2 years ago when Israel decided to attack Gaza and kill hundreds of children for political reasons.

For a child to not feel anger - especially when she has had close family members and relatives suffer from the occupation or be killed, would be inhuman. It is inhuman for these zionist trolls to victimise her and try to silence her.

This is another case of the boy crying wolf to silence criticism of Israel and if it keeps going on, it will only lose its power.

 There have been similar attempts first in Oxford University Labour movement where one person cried wolf causing a lot of problems for others, and also recently in the Labour party where there were attempts to smear the leader by crying wolf against words used by other party members - some of which were Jewish themselves. That was an attempt to silence criticism and smear the  labour leader at the same, time.

These bullies should note that opposing voices will not be silenced. People will continue to talk out against injustice, whether it be in Israel, Syria, Yemen, Iraq or elsewhere, whether against Muslims or not against Muslims, speaking out and standing up is the human thing to do.

However, we also need to act. We need to provide places for young people to publicise and discuss their views - even if erroneous and without full comprehension of all the facts, because these are children and young adults -  without the risk of being caught up in traps by the global zionist bullying. We need allow them to develop their ideas.
