I dont think you HAVE to read anything...
there is the talbiyah which is read in most places I thikn but I havent been so maybe I am wrong.

this site puts the talbiyha under the preparation heading? Parents going hajj, so wanted to save some on my mums phone so she could memorise, but theres a lot of duas tht u CAN read and I havent been either so I wouldnt knw which ones would have preference :/

If she is going ina group, she can recite what others are.
I dont think there are specifics to recite. and yes, talbiyyah is "preparaton" sort of as you recite it when going to hajj (and maybe from one place to another?) but the essentials are to do dua at arafat on the right day, go to the places etc and do the actions, the exact prayers are optional.
