One day a young man was standing in the middle of the town proclaiming that he had the most beautiful heart in the whole valley.
A large crowd gathered and they all admired his heart for it was perfect.
There was not a mark or a flaw in it.
Yes, they all agreed it truly was the most beautiful heart they had ever seen.
The young man was very proud and boasted more loudly about his beautiful heart.
Suddenly, an old man appeared at the front of the crowd and said, "Why your heart is not nearly as beautiful as mine."
The crowd and the young man looked at the old man's heart. It was beating strongly ... but full of scars. It had places where pieces had been removed and other pieces put in ... but they didn't fit quite right and there were several jagged edges.
In fact, in some places there were deep gouges where whole pieces were missing.
The people stared ... how could he say his heart is more beautiful, they thought?
The young man looked at the old man's heart and saw its state and laughed. "You must be joking," he said. "Compare your heart with mine ... mine is perfect and yours is a mess of scars and tears."
"Yes," said the old man, "Yours is perfect looking ... but I would never trade with you. You see, every scar represents a person to whom I have given my love ..... I tear out a piece of my heart and give it to them ... and often they give me a piece of their heart which fits into the empty place in my heart ... but because the pieces aren't exact, I have some rough edges, which I cherish, because they remind me of the love we shared.
Sometimes I have given pieces of my heart away ... and the other person hasn't returned a piece of his heart to me. These are the empty gouges ... giving love is taking a chance. Although these gouges are painful, they stay open, reminding me of the love I have for these people too ... and I hope someday they may return and fill the space I have waiting. So now do you see what true beauty is?"
The young man stood silently with tears running down his cheeks. He walked up to the old man, reached into his perfect young and beautiful heart, and ripped a piece out. He offered it to the old man with trembling hands.
The old man took his offering, placed it in his heart and then took a piece from his old scarred heart and placed it in the wound in the young man's heart.
It fit .... but not perfectly, as there were some jagged edges.
The young man looked at his heart, not perfect anymore but more beautiful than ever, since love from the old man's heart flowed into his.
They embraced and walked away side by side.
This just goes to show that if people really did take the time to see people's hearts then they would realise how precious they are. To be honest nowadays people know the price of everything, but the value of nothing........... Most people in this world only look at how a person looks and automatically judges them and if they are not the perfect looking then they just won't even take a chance in getting to know them. You may be a tramp with the biggest and most stunning heart ever, but not one will ever know, because they didn't take the time to know you or a very rich and glamorous model with a cold and bitter heart. Tell me honestly wich one you would choose to get to know - your answer has to come from your heart not from your head- The Tramp or The glamorous Model?

glamorous model!!!! lol...no just kidding!!
I dnt see the point in judging a person on their looks and I like to think I couldnt care any less....Ill tell u what...at work there was a new worker (woman) and I asked this guy "so what do u think??( as in personality wise)" and unbelievably he says...shes ugly!
and im just thinking WHAT???! what did I ask??? besides excuse her for not being easthetically pleasing enough for you, cos that rlly is her purpose in life, puleaase!!!
besides for you to call someone ugly, do u not have to be the prettiest person in the world??? AND when calling someone ugly are you not critisising the work of Allah swt???? besides beauty is in the eye of the beholder right????
(im always getting carried away and just rant, gtta stop!)

Why are you so annoyed in that post?
and yes, beauty or the lack thereof does exist.
"For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens 'as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone'" - David Cameron, UK Prime Minister. 13 May 2015.
Yes I am annoyed (I didn't think any1 would notice).
I might as well tell u. So I was in school today and I heard this girl crying in the toilets. So i asked if she was okay. And she wouldn't answer and told me to go away. But I didn't and so I just firmly told her to open the door or else I will open it for her (harsh I know, but I can't stand people crying, it hurts me). Eventually I managed to persuade her to tell me what was going on (not harshly this time, but nicely:)) She told me that she was on her way to her lesson and a group of boys started shouted out stupid and mean things to her, calling her ugly and fat and just horrible names, that I don't even wanna write down.Anyways I just told her to ignore them and that she was more beautiful than she knew and more talented than she knew and more loved than she could imagine- That made her smile. I made it my job to find the boys and give then a spanking- well not really a spanking, but whatever i said, i made them apoligise to her and well I don't know if what i said made thwem learn there lesson, but at least this girl seemed less upset and that made me feel better.
That's why I thought I might as well write a blog about looking into peoples hearts, because I spent the rest of my lunch with her and I realised she was a really nice girl behind her mask and not judge people by how they look. :)x
oh, thats rlly nice!!
something like tht would annoy me to, I dont understand why people are so mean to each other,it rlly doesnt take much to be nice to someone....I had a girl in my school, who was new to the country, so her english wasnt tht great and the abuse that she suffered it was just unbelievable...I would tell people to back off and give her a chance, but what are u gnna do when even the muslims were being so horrible???
too sad, too sad man...

Hey it's okay to rant some time. I'm the same. When I'm writing an email to someone they always say that yeah they wanna know how i'M doin, but they don't want an essay.
Anyways back to my point, it's good to know that there are some people out there who are caring and sensitive to others feelings
Ah that was such a nice read.
The tramp and model thing - i'm actually not sure

Thanks:)
Think about it. Look think it through like this. You were at a school (as a teacher) and there was a scruffy old caretaker with a scrufyy old dog (ok if ur scared of dogs like me then forget the dog, I just felt like writing it)and there is this handsome Biology teacher. Who would like to choose to talk to u on ur first day The caretaker or the Bio teacher?
LOL i was thinking 'i don't like dogs' too!
Well I make an active effort to smile at people who may be deemed in a 'lower' position - so in this case the caretaker and i usually wait for the other person to talk to me first (not always but it's happened a lot if i think back through my memories).
Also the reason why i'm unsure is because i like to know what people think of something - even the great looking ones - with no brain - i want to find some sort of their opinion on something. I find it interesting to talk to both someone who is wow looking on the outside and those who aren't as wow looking as well - IF that all makes sense..
