You have all heard of the story of Adam and Eve, but here is a new angle.

God had created the Garden of Eden and then created Adam and Eve. He told him, you can eat of the garden any plant or animal, it is there for your needs. But;

There is always a but; Do not eat from a certain tree, the tree of life, which is also the tree of knowledge of good and evil in the middle of the Garden, the rest of the garden is for your pleasure and needs.

We are now into Holy week, Maundy Thursday saw the Pope washing feet of a few people [including a few bemused migrants] Our Queen as stopped doing this many years ago and gives out specially minted money instead.

We stripped the alter in our Church after having a service which symbolises the betrayal of Jesus, by his trusted disciples, to the legal Authorities?  Leaving their leader to face the consequence on his own.

Some thoughts on the Revival Webb site

Some thoughts on the Revival Webb site, I have dropped by on this site for some time now and found it most interesting. I accept its main aim to reach a Muslim audience who are mainly in their teens and twenties.

As the Magazine says on its front page “Voice of the Muslim Youth”. The magazine goes back to 2005. I have looked through articles in the magazine, finding some both controversial, yet thought provoking. But don’t take my word for it have a look for yourself.

Is your Faith Strong enough to listen to other views on Religion?

I came across a U-Tube video with Stephen Fry being asked question on RTE about what will happen when he dies and does God exist.

He raised some issues that made one think. The usually questions, Why does God allow bad things to happen? Also if God did exist and was so perfect he could have done a better job of it.

The PC brigade called it Mid-winterval so as not to upset the minorities within the UK. Yet they go overboard indoctrinating children in any form of religion, other then Christianity. Then again it is all right as Marx said, “Religion is just the opium of the masses”. The nature of the game is to control the masses by any means possible. The Romans did it with their arenas and games. We do it with strictly and other entertainments

The Good Samaritan; or The Gay Atheist

A simple story based on a parable (story) told by Jesus 2000 years ago. Probably still relevant today.

For those who are not aware, a Samaritan was a member of a Jewish sect living in Judea at the time of Jesus. Some did not recognise them as proper Jews, having intermarried with people, who lived also in Judea, but were not Jewish, even though a Samaritan followed all the Jewish dietary rules, kept the Sabbath, and thought of himself as a Jew.
