Shadows in the Sun - The Living Legacy of the Sahabah BIRMINGHAM

Event Date:
Friday, 11 September, 2015 - 19:00 to Sunday, 13 September, 2015 - 19:00

Have you considered that today you are able to carry the Book of Allah because one man long ago sacrificed many sleepless nights to scrutinize every verse written on whatever animal hide, piece of wood, or stone that the companions could muster?

Have you considered that today your Islam was made possible because one woman long ago shielded the Prophet (sallah Allahu alayhi wassalam) with her entire body, bearing arrow after arrow impaling her body?

Or have you considered that today you comprehend the words of Allah (swt) because one boy long ago was made a prodigy, a genius, committed to the perpetual study of the Quran and its depth of wisdom?

In a specially prepared seminar, Dr. Abdullah Hakim Quick gathers the remarkable contributions of the men and women around the Prophet (salla Allahu alayhi wassalam) to transform your kinship with the best generation to ever walk the earth.

Revival Digest - August 2015

We are approaching the end of the sleepy summer and the world is gearing up for the new academic year. Students, young and old are awakening from the summer slumber.

So is The Revival

While reading the biography by Malcolm X recently,  the importance of spreading the truth cannot be ignored. He mentioned how if Muslims had preached Islam in America, people would not have falled for the lies of the Nation of Islam. He also considered when he found true Islam that with a bit of organisation, da'wah, how many millions more could be brought to Islam.

Agenda for Change | As-Suffa Conference 2015

Event Date:
Sunday, 30 August, 2015 - 12:00

Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves. (Al-Qur’an, Surah al-Ra’d)

To grow and develop is the essence of the soul- without striving for a greater cause or goal our souls would remain stagnant and wither away. Within the guidelines that our Creator has laid for us, we as a community must also make it incumbent upon ourselves to pool our resources, stand firm in the face of injustice and unite under the banner of goodness.

Join us at this groundbreaking conference where we discuss our identity as Muslims living in the UK.  We will look at our role, rights and responsibilities by drawing upon the compassionate and exemplary teachings of Islam. We will also propose and evaluate an Agenda for Change to be implemented on a personal, familial and societal level to ensure the Muslims of today and tomorrow positively contribute to, and become leaders of, the community without compromising any of their values.

Emmanuel Adebayor

The famous footballer Emmanuel Adebayor has recently converted to Islam. In an article published in The Herald, Emmanuel Adebayor gives some reasons for why he converted to Islam and why he believed that Muslims are truer followers of Jesus (pbuh):

I GOT 13 VALID REASONS WHY AND HOW MUSLIMS ARE LIKE JESUS (PBUH) AND TRUER FOLLOWERS OF JESUS THAN MOST CHRISTIANS BELIEVE:

1. Jesus (pbuh) taught that there is only One God and Only God should be worshipped as taught in Deut 6:4, Mark 12:29. Muslims also believe this as taught in the Qur’an verse 4:171.
