Ridda Wars, The Sahaba's forced Islam on people

The Ridda wars also known as the Wars of Apostasy, were a series of military campaigns launched by the Caliph Abu Bakr against rebel Arabian tribes during 632 and 633 AD, just after Mohammed died.

The concentrations of rebels nearest Medina were located in two areas: Abraq, 72 miles north-east of Medina, and Dhu Qissa, 24 miles east of Medina.

These concentrations consisted of the tribes of Banu Ghatafan, the Hawazin, and the Tayy. Abu Bakr sent envoys to all the apostate tribes, calling upon them to remain loyal to Islam and continue to pay their Zakat.

The caliph formed 11 main corps, each under its own commander.

A standard was given to each corps.

The available manpower was distributed among these corps, and while some commanders were given immediate missions, others were given missions for which they would be launched later.

The 11 corps commanders and their assigned objectives were as follows:

1.Seek the tribes which are your objectives

2.Call the Azaan.

3.If the tribe answers with the Azaan, do not attack. After the Azaan, ask the tribe to confirm its submission, including the payment of zakat. If confirmed, do not attack.

4.Those who submit will not be attacked.

5.Those who do not answer with the Azaan, or after the Azaan do not confirm full submission, will be dealt with by the sword.

6.apostates who have killed Muslims will be killed.

Islam is full of fitna's

1. The tribes that fought against the Muslims in the Ridda wars had the aim of destroying Islam and the Muslim and were raising armies to invade Madina.

2. Those that killed others were required to pay the price. What's wrong with that?

Why didn’t they just ignore them? if Islam was the true religion why did they worry about people leaving Islam or destroying it?

Muslims are the ones destroying Islam from the 1st day

Mirza Siraj Uddin Dola was killed by Mir Jafar’s son no America or anything
Most of the khalifas killed one and other

Mir Sadiq is alleged to have betrayed the sultan by siding with the British. He allegedly pulled the Mysorean army from the battlefield for collecting wages in the midst of the battle.

How can a Muslim do that?

My English is not very good

because they were amassing an army with the aim to come and capture Madinah and kill the Muslims.

Cant ignore that.

Double standards?

How many places have Muslims captured with force and invasion?

My English is not very good

and how much have they given to those places?

Loads.

I dont get what you are trying to get to.

Do you have a point?

Yes there were ridda wars.

Muslims have double standards
its OK when they kill and invade but not when someone else does

Wait A minute. So the prophet was cast out of his home for having a different religion. He goes to madinah, there are battles and Muhammad becomes the victor, and then HE FORGIVES ALL of them.

Then he Dies.

With me so far?

Alright, so now we are the point where the Apostate wars begin.

People revolt, and decide to attack Madinah.

Abu Bakr goes out to defend Madinah.
